What is All-level Bhakti Flow?

“Bhakti Flow is a Vinyasa Flow movement practice that engages the breath, mind, body and spirit. Each class is centered around themes rooted in the ancient yogic texts. We will explore activation of the chakras and vayus, practice pranayama, connect movement and breath, and work on getting to know ourselves and our patterns on and off the mat.”

— Osea

“Bhakti Flow is a pathway to connect to the universe with love and devotion. As a Bhakti practitioner and trained Bhakti yoga instructor she will guide students through the ancient wisdom of the practice while helping them reach deep into themselves and yoke to the divinity within. Using ancient texts such as Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavat Purana, she will share the wisdom discovered by the many teachers who have come before us, as well as, teachers and scholars who are continuing to delve into matters of the spirit. We will incorporate meditation, stretching and an intuitive Vinyasa practice and even Restorative yoga poses to help students open up to the beauty that surrounds them and connect to a life of meaning. “

Meet the Team

  • Tiffany Cooper

    Instructor

Tiffany Cooper began her journey with yoga in 1997 while living in Santa Monica, California. After moving to Pennsylvania she found a supportive community of yoga practitioners and decided she wanted to share the many gifts yoga has given to her with more people. She is certified in Vinyasa Flow yoga as well as Bhakti yoga. As a sadhaka, she meditates and studies sacred texts daily. She also leads meditation classes and seminars.

Tiffany is an Usui Reiki Master and a Four Winds trained Shaman. She has received all of the Munay-Ki healing rites. As an intuitive she uses her connection to the supernatural world to do readings to help others connect with the energy around them and use it to heal.

She actively works to deepen her practice on a daily basis which is not only a passion but her lifestyle. Her classes are filled with a deep sense of joy, reverence and love that create an environment of strength and self-discovery. She encourages students to listen to their bodies, make their practice their own and channel their energy toward positive intentions.

  • Osea Remick

    Instructor

Osea(they/them) has been practicing yoga since youth. They completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with their mentor, Gopi Kinnicutt, of Bhakti Yoga DC, and are currently pursuing their 500-hour certification . Their practice focuses on movement as a means of personal embodiment. They always start their asana practice with attention to the breath, biomechanics and precise cuing, and strive to finish with engagement of the mind and heart.

Osea believes in the transformative power of intentional movement to create awareness of and change physical, mental, and emotional patterns that are stored in the body. They’ve found this to have special value as a trans queer person and believe yoga can be a means of personal and collective survival, resistance, and transcendence.

They have studied Bhakti spirituality and taught yoga asana at New Vrindavan, West Virginia. They continue regular personal study of Bhakti yoga and physical yoga every day, with gratitude for the guidance of their teachers, including Gopi Kinnicutt, Jacoby Ballard, Jennifer May, the writings and translations of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, and the mentorship of his disciples, including Rukmini Walker, Dina Bandhu Das, Anuradha Imseng, and Premananda Vilasa Das.
