Radhastami

The gopīs are exalted above all the advanced devotees because they are always totally dependent upon Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the transcendental cowherd boy. Among the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the most dear to Kṛṣṇa...Of the many objects of favored delight and of all the lovable damsels of Vraja-bhūmi, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is certainly the most treasured object of Kṛṣṇa’s love. - Upadeshamrita 10-11.

We will be celebrating the Appearance Day of Krishna's topmost devotee Srimati Radharani on September 3rd.  The program will be held late morning starting at 10 a.m. and will consist of:

  • Pushpa Abhshek

  • Raja Bhoga Arati

  • Kirtan

  • Discourse on Srimati Radharani

  • 56 Offerings

  • Personal Note Offering

  • Prasadam Lunch Feast

  • Sankirtan

Lord Krishna descended into this world as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu with the desire to experience Srimati Radharani's love for Him.  In the form of the sankirtan movement, Lord Caitanya distributed that love by chanting the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra and giving it freely to everyone He met.
